I have a professional interest in Pokemon. Here`s what I think:

Ace - Lucario or Erureido as sparring partners

Lexi - Pichu, Azurill, or anything else small and cute; possibly Mimilop or Skitty as well

Duck - Persian or Delcatty, to try and win some prestige, particularly from the ladies (of course, their fickle, independent natures would give Duck one heckuva headache, and us one heckuva laugh)

Tech - Alakazam or Slowking, for holding intellectual discussions

Rev - Munchlax or Vigoroth, something as energetic as he is

Slam - Machoke or Machamp as exercise partners

Believe it or not, I`m still something of a Pokemon fan (to the point I`m thinking of stories for the series and considering making CGI models of the little critters with added detail) I`ve just taken up a more professional interest in them, rather than an active one (which means I can really help my little brother out when he needs help with battling and such) Of course, after hearing about Pokemon D&P + all the features it`s bringing, I`m considering re-entering the field.

Pokemon was the whole reason I wanted a gameboy. Being not-up-to-date with my technology at the time, I was searching for a gameboy color. (Pretty stupid of me.) But my daddy got me a PS2 instead. (I got a SP later.)

I personally have thought about this before as well, being a major Pokemon fan, and here's my two-cents:

Ace: Pikachu (nothing else really fits for him. And Pikachu = leader soooo...yeah ^^; )

Lexi: No matter how I look at it, a Kirlia comes to mind for me. She seems like the phychic Pokemon type trainer to me.

Duck: Golduck XD;

Slam: Probably either a rock or fighting type; something like Steelix or Machamp.

Tech: I always see several Magnimite or one Magniton for em. Or perhaps a Castform. Some Pokemon that would interest him scientificly would be good.

Rev: Rapidash or Dodrio is perfect for him, no question.

i was looking through wikipedia at the next generation pokemon that will be comeing with the next pokemon game (well,it's alreayd released in japan. it's comeing to amercia soon). this one pokemon i think is good for tech.

it's called a yuxie and is known as the "knowledge pokemon."

i see sypher with a ditto:)

black velvet would deftinely get a dark element pokemon (can't think of which one at the moment.)

and for mastermind,i see her ending up with the same pokemon as tech. not that i'm one of those who think tech and mallory had something. however their pasts are linked and it would be sheer irony if they ended up with the same kind of pokemon.

and after i posted the last message up i thought of sableeye for velvet. it would be perfect deftinely.

as for the style,hmm,dunno. maybe someone will try to draw pokemon in loonatics style,who knows?

i'm so inspired i'm writing a fic. it's kind of part comedy,part seriousness. And i'm deftinely takeing other peoples ideas for who has what pokemon in mind. i might give them more then one pokemon by the end of the story.

Um, no, she means that its Dragonair that can control the weather. Once it evolves to Dragonite it looses that ability.

Heck, there`s still plenty of potential for new Pokemon. It`s all a matter of using new type combinations, coming up with evos/prevos for pre-existant Pokemon, and finding new ideas for Legendaries (although if they`re to become much more powerful than Dialga and Palkia [and especially Arseus] they might as well be called godly Pokemon

)

As much as I do like to see new Pokemon, I do hope the dudes stop with this new generation. Cuz its really doing to get harder to remember them all. And plus, some evolutions their adding to the old Pokemon are really just pointless. I totally hate Magnaton's new evolution >_0;;

The new Eevee evolutions look totally cool though

I was wondering when they were going to come up with a grass type.

Actually, once they release all the USA names for the 4th gen Pokes, I think I`ll be able to name them all by heart, although not necessarily in order (and Unown will count all kinds of Unown at the time). Also, while I`m not ready to post it yet, I`m also forming an idea for a legendary ghost trio of Pokemon...or perhaps supernatural trio would be a more accurate description.

I guess I have some idea of what Pokemon the Loonatics would have....

Tech: Aggron, just because of the whole Tech's metal bending powers and Aggron bein an steel pokemon. Only that may not be such a good combo after all....

Rev: Grovyle, not only are they both super fast, but they look the same. No, seriously. I'm serious. Find a picture of a Grovyle and look.

Ace: Blaizeken. Both fight like **** and rule, so, yeah.

Lexi: Vulpix/Ninetales, just that vulpix is cute and Ninetales is beautiful. Kind of like Lexi, she was more cute than beautiful before the meteor. But then she became beautiful.

Slam: Somehow I see him owning a Mightyena. *runs to doctor to look for funny thigies in head*

Duck: Cacnea for duck, just because I used to watch Pokemon and saw all those times where James got OWNED by his Cacnea.

Zadavia: Mewto. Wait, why the heck is Zadavia even on this list? And why Mewto? Mewtos' ugly! *sees picture of Mewto and passes out* Acutally, Zadavia always seemed to have a psychic aura around her.
